(計畫摘要)本課程旨在讓非生物背景學生也能瞭解細胞在生化生理現象及機制對現今生醫領域新知有全方位的認識。 在課程中也安排短影片輔助上課介紹細胞在生理現象來提高學習興趣及擬安排幾次實驗課,讓學生操作學習,包含動物細胞培養。使學生除了授課學習也熟悉細胞生化生理實驗方法,以培養未來跨領域的研究人才。

(計畫摘要)Objective: 1. To introduce to students different techniques used in the solar observations. 2. To provide students a hands-on opportunity to process and analyze real solar data. Outline: The class will consist of both theoretical learning and data analysis experience. Theoretical learning: Students will learn the observation methods of several latest solar observation instruments, including Hinode, Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO), and STEREO. Data analysis experience: Students will learn to download and analyze data from these instruments.

(計畫摘要)The course will investigate the interrelationships between the environment and the ways in which energy is produced, distributed, and used. We will discuss how to provide humankind with energy-derived advantages without damaging the environment, affecting societal stability, or threatening the well being of future generations. Particular attention is paid to current energy resources and technologies, as well as some emerging technologies. Topics studied include greenhouse gases, climate change, fossil, nuclear, existing and potential renewable sources, including hydroelectric, geothermal, tidal, wind and solar, and energy storage.
